Aleksandar Stanković is leaving Club and returning to Inter Milan.
After a strong season at Blauw-Zwart, in which the Serbian midfielder played a big part in the team claiming the national title, Stanković (20) returns to Italy after just one year in Belgium. In total, he played 55 games for Club, scoring 9 goals and providing 5 assists. In the Jupiler Pro League, he accounted for 39 games (6 goals, 2 assists), while in the UEFA Champions League he made 14 appearances (3 goals, 2 assists). In the Croky Cup, he added another 2 games and 1 assist to his total.
His achievements did not go unnoticed. Stanković was voted "Rookie of the year" by his peers, trainers and club officials at the Pro League Awards. He also won multiple Player of the Month and Man of the Match trophies.
Now Stanković returns to Inter Milan, after the Italian powerhouse triggered the buyback-clause to re-sign Aleksander.
