Club Business in Leipzig: the report

The Champions League is also alive and well at Club Business. Follow closely every step of our move to Leipzig!

DAY 1: SEPTEMBER 27, 2021

10:30 a.m.: departure and arrival
With 33 Partners, Club Business, together with the players' core, staff and Club NXT, boarded the Brussels Airlines flight to Leipzig. Barely an hour and a half after departure from Ostend, we set foot in the German metropolis and made our way to the hotel by bus.

13:00: lunch and networking moment
After a short bus ride we arrive at the Hotel Steigenberger, right in the center of Leipzig. The ideal setting for a first meeting and a nice networking moment among the 33 Club partners, accompanied by a welcome drink and a tasty lunch.

3 pm: free time
From the hip cafes to the historic city center and the old market.... Time to explore Leipzig!

8 p.m.: partner dinner
In the beautiful setting of the Salles de Pologne it's 100% enjoyment. Networking, catching up and a delicious dinner: it's the perfect end to the first day of travel.

DAY 2: SEPTEMBER 28, 2021

Morning: free
Sleep in or start the day with a hearty breakfast? Club partners choose how to recharge their batteries in the morning ahead of the Champions League game.

2 p.m.: check-out
After a short but wonderful stay at the Steigenberger Hotel, we check out.

3 p.m.: group activity
Who hasn't dreamed of racing in a fast sports car? With Club Business it was possible during our fine group activity. So the adrenaline already started pumping ahead of the race....

5:45 p.m.: pre-match dinner
Time for the final dinner! In the cozy atmosphere of Macis restaurant, we enjoy a delicious pre-match dinner. With a fine meal behind our teeth, we are completely ready for the Champions League clash. Off to the Red Bull Arena...

9 p.m.: kick-off
We are ready and waiting! We have taken our seats in the Red Bull Arena and are anxiously awaiting the Champions League anthem.... No sweat no glory!

10:45 p.m.: end!
The party is complete! After goals by Vanaken and Rits, we book a great 1-2 victory on the field of RB Leipzig. With a 4 out of 6, this puts Club in the shared lead in the Group of Death. What a stunt!

1h15: departure
Still in the throes of victory, we board the Brussels Airlines flight to Ostend. The over-earned three-pointer is the perfect ending to a fantastic two days. On to the next one!
