12 players called up for international duty

Sunday marks the final matchday of the regular season, a home game against Charleroi. After that, several Club players will join their national teams again. Find out below who has been called up for their country during the international break.

Joel Ordóñez - Ecuador

Joel Ordóñez will once again represent Ecuador. In the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, he’ll face Chile and Venezuela.

Maxim De Cuyper, Brandon Mechele and Hans Vanken - Belgium

The Red Devils still need to secure their place in League A of the Nations League. A direct clash with Ukraine will be decisive.

  • Belgium vs Ukraine: March 23 - 20:45

Hugo Siquet, Jorne Spileers & Romeo Vermant - U21 Belgium

The Belgian U21 team will play a friendly during the international break, away against Sweden. Hugo Siquet, Jorne Spileers, and Romeo Vermant are back in the squad.

Raphael Onyedika - Nigeria

Nigeria is gearing up for matchdays 5 and 6 of their World Cup qualifying campaign. Onyedika will help lead the charge against Rwanda and Zimbabwe.

Chemsdine Talbi - Morocco

Talbi recently announced his decision to represent Morocco. After some strong performances in the Champions League, his dream is coming true. He’ll take another step towards the 2026 World Cup with Morocco in matches against Niger and Tanzania.

Hugo Vetlesen - Norway

Hugo Vetlesen kicks off Norway’s World Cup qualification campaign. Moldova and Israel are their first opponents.

  • Israël vs Norway: March 25 - 20:45

Christos Tzolis - Greece

Christos Tzolis will also be in action in the Nations League. He’ll try to guide Greece past Scotland to secure a place in League A.

Ardon Jashari - Switzerland (U21)

Jashari will play one friendly with Switzerland’s U21 team. They’ll host their neighbors from Austria.

Jashari will then rejoin the Swiss senior national team. They’ll play two friendly matches against Luxembourg and Northern Ireland.
