Last Saturday, Club YLA kicked off its first match in the Scooore Super League against Standard Feminina. And it immediately became a special one: Indeed, the match was shown live on Eleven Sports, but also, for the first time in the history of Club Brugge women's soccer, finished at the Jan Breydel Stadium. The team from Liege was knocked off the mat with a resounding 4-1 victory in front of 500 enthusiastic fans.
In addition, two beautiful brands appeared on the shirts of the players: Pepsi Max and nākd. Over the past year, Club YLA has become a leading, trendy and unique brand within women's soccer, one of the fastest growing sports in the world. The partnerships with Pepsi Max and nākd. are therefore of great value in the growth process and further professionalization of women's soccer.
Marie Minnaert, midfielder of YLA and the Red Flames, is extremely happy with and proud of the partnerships: "Both Pepsi Max and nākd. are big and well-known brands, not only in Belgium but also far beyond. For Club YLA it is very important that they want to cooperate and invest in women's soccer; it clearly indicates that the interest is growing and that we can also become more prominent this way. It is really a big step forward for women's soccer that such brands believe in our project and want to cooperate to make women's soccer bigger. It is a great honor to wear these brands. In addition, they fit perfectly with the trendy and sports professional image that Club YLA wants to project."
