International break: 12 Club players called up

We are entering the final international break of 2024. Club sends out 12 players for the national teams.

Belgium - UEFA Nations League

Maxim De Cuyper earned another call-up for the Belgian Red Devils, following his first goal for the national team away against Italy.

A new addition for the Red Devils is Joaquin Seys. His excellent season start in his first season with the first team earned him an international call-up from national coach Tedesco.

Belgium are currently third in Group 2 with four points out of a possible twelve. Belgium need to win both teams and rely on a bit of luck to avoid the qualifying play-offs and a possible relegation to Division B.

Belgium U21 - 2025 European Under-21 Championship Qualifying Play-Offs

Romeo Vermant, Jorne Spileers and Hugo Siquet face the Czech Republic in a knock-out to decide who will be playing the 2025 U21 European Championship. Belgium lost the decisive match against Hungary in October, but still have a shot to qualify over two games against the Czech.

Ecuador - Qualification WC 2026

Ecuador is heading for the business end of their qualification competition with matchday 11 of 18 for the 2026 World Championship in the US, Canada and Mexico. Joel Ordóñez and his countrymen have 13 out of 30, placing them fifth. The top six advance directly to the World Championship.

Nigeria - Qualification AFCON 2025

Raphael Onyedika and his Nigeria will try to qualify for the 2025 AFCON in Morocco. The Super Eagles need one point to be sure of finishing first or second in their Group D which they top with 10 out of 12.

Denmark - UEFA Nations League

Andreas Skov Olsen and Denmark are second in Group 4 with seven points after four matches. European champions Spain have already qualified, with only Serbia being able to keep the Danes from a top two position. The result of the mutual duel on the final fixture will decide who's joining Spain.

Switzerland - UEFA Nations League

Ardon Jashari is part of Switzerland's first team again since last summer's European Championship. After a good spell at Club he will now try to avoid a relegation to Division B.

Greece - UEFA Nations League

Christos Tzolis and his countrymen can promote to Division A if they get a good result against England. Can they repeat their stun victory of last October in Wembley (1-2)?

Norway - UEFA Nations League

Hugo Vetlesen and star players Haaland and Odegaard face an extremely exciting final stage in Group 3 of Division B. They are currently first based on the results against Austria and Slovenia. The three countries all have seven points.

The Netherlands U21 - 2025 European Under-21 Championship Qualifying Play-Offs

Bjorn Meijer has earned his first international call-up after his lenghty injury. The Netherlands won the first match of the Qualifying Play-Offs 3-0 against Sweden and now face their peers of Slovakia and England.
