Ivan Leko: "It was a pleasing win"

But at least this is a very important victory, so we can enjoy that for now. But starting tomorrow the focus is already going toward our match next week." Leko was unable to call on Mechele in Westerlo and also saw Vanaken and Seys injured during the match. "Everyone knows how important Hans is for us, but the boys handled his absence well. Let's hope the injuries are not too bad and that Brandon is also fully recovered from his illness soon."
Jorne Spileers: "Didn't know I was going to play until today."
Since Brandon Mechele was not yet fully fit after illness, Jorne Spileers appeared at kickoff. Romeo Vermant: "We countered tremendously well"
Romeo Vermant was allowed to fill in against his former team Westerlo and so the question for him is whether it was more virtuous against his former team? "More virtue? No, every victory is nice. Of course it's very special for me to come back here to Westerlo. A club that has given me a lot, but above all it's a good win. Especially just before the end of the regular league, especially to keep up."
