Torhoutse Steenweg exit closed
During the works, traffic on the Expressway will always remain possible in both directions. When work is in progress on the road half towards the coast (early August-early September), all traffic will drive on the other half of the road. Each driving direction will have one lane. This will cause serious disruption, especially during the first few days. During this period, the Torhoutse Steenweg (N32) exit towards the coast will be closed.
Traffic will be diverted via the exit at Koningin Astridlaan. In the direction of E40 all slip roads will remain available.
The work in the coastal direction will be completed by the end of August or early September. Then the roadway will reopen. Works in the other direction (inland direction) will only start after the cycling world championships (from 18 to 22 September). These works will also take a month.
