'Become ePro'. With this slogan, Club and Main Partner Unibet launched the search for a new FIFA player a few months ago. Reward: the title of official representative of Blauw-Zwart in the eProLeague and a hefty €5,000 check from Unibet.
Transfer news for eClubBrugge! A few months ago Club and Unibet started the search for a new, official FIFA player. As many as 400 interested parties eventually applied for the coveted title. Blauw-Zwart selected sixteen contenders who were allowed to prove their skills in an offline tournament at The Nest.
In the end it was Rudi Ekmen who outlasted Maxim Goemaere in the finals to take the title of Blauw-Zwart's new, official FIFA player for one year. However, there was also good news for the losing finalist: Maxim Goemaere proved his qualities in the game and becomes Club Brugge's second official FIFA player this season.
BELIEF IN THE FUTURE OF ESPORTS
Rudi Ekmen not only gets the chance to prove himself in the eProLeague with his victory, the new Esporter also received a hefty check for €5,000 from Unibet. The Main Partner of Blauw-Zwart proves to believe in the growth and future of Esports.
