In celebration of our 130th anniversary, a month ago we launched We AR Bruges, a unique interactive city walk for young and old. And that free experience? That one is very hot in the heart of Bruges. More than 12,500 supporters have already been introduced to the 7 missions of Club Bruges!
A 1.891 kilometer walking route on which you can sprint against Noa Lang or kick penalties against Simon Mignolet using augmented reality? Since the end of October, visiting the city has never been so much fun. Besides our supporters, many foreign tourists took part in this unique experience. From Panama to Australia, more than 50 different nationalities got to know our fantastic club. The specially designed website has been viewed 95,000 times so far.
Not yet put on the hiking boots? Not to worry. We AR Bruges runs until the end of January and is perfect to combine with a day at the Bruges Christmas market and a visit to the City Shop. The route starts at the Grote Markt and ends in the brand new Shop, where you will receive a nice gift after completing all the missions!
