Hugo Vetlesen transferred from Norwegian FK Bodø/Glimt at the beginning of the 2023-2024 season. The season before, he scored no less than 16 times in the Eliteserien and provided 12 assists. Vetlesen also managed to make his mark in the preliminary rounds of the Champions League, group stage of the Europa League and eventually Conference League.
The Norwegian international signed a contract until 2027 with Club Brugge.
