A last-gasp draw against Besiktas. Coach Deila rued the result, but was positive when it came to the performance of his team.
"It's clear that our group of players, and myself, is very disappointed about this result. On the other hand, there's also the sense that we couldn't have done much better than we have today. Our first thirty minutes were next to perfect in any aspect and we kept creating chances in the first half. Even after that equaliser, we kept our heads high and went for the win. Unfortunately it was just one of those days when you don't get what you really deserve. I reckon you have to see through that result and just be happy with the game we played. In the end, it comes down to finishing your chances, and that's what we failed to do today. We concede that equaliser after a bad passy by Casper (Nielsen), but no one blames him for it. He is very disappointed about that moment. The game should have been put beyond doubt well before that; creating more than ten chances, you just need to win this game. Today was a combination of bad luck in front of goal, lack of efficiency, and an excellent goalkeeper."
Club's coach also touched upon the absence of Nusa and Zinckernagel. "Philip (Zinckernagel) was ill today, so we hope to recover him for next Sunday's game, and the same goes for Nusa, unavailable due to back pains. We need to analyse this one day at a time."
Finally, the coach was asked about Jutglà's starting chances. "It might be that Ferran is in the Starting XI on Sunday, but personally I reckon it's still too early days. He's getting better by the day, so we'll see just when he will be completely available," Club's T1 concluded. (TM)
