Joaquin Seys was barely 7 years old when he traded Ostend for Blauw-Zwart, going through all the youth series at Club NXT.
Joaquin Seys is a young defender who progressed from the U18 to Club NXT in the summer of 2022. There he emerged as a strongman on the flank and this led to a permanent move to the A core in the summer of 2024-2025.
During the 2024-2025 season, Seys made a striking impression. The left back played strongly in his first matches and also proved himself at the right back position. In addition, the youth product stood out with good performances during the Champions League campaign.
In December 2024, he extended his contract until 2028.
